This hand guard Is awesome. It feels good in the hand. A bit sharp on the top rail and the top rail sits a bit lower than my BCM upper. Its solid to the upper and it hasn't mover in the last year that i've had it. 15.5" ends right at the beginning of the threads of my 16" barrel. Sling clips right in and I will be buying another when I build a pistol.
