Love This hand guard !
They are not kidding when they say Ultra lite ! This thing weighs next to nothing when you hold it in your hand/hands. The ergonomics is superb, it feels great when your hand is on the end of this hand guard holding in the firing position. It fits/mates up to my Aero Precision upper perfectly, and looks good with the design of the upper. I ordered the barrel nut wrench as well, not that I don't have tools to install it, but Why not get the wrench that is made just for this barrel nut, rather play it safe than sorry, don't want to strip,mangle, or mare the barrel nut in any shape or form. Installation was easy, just fallow the instructions SLR provides, and you can't go wrong ! I purchased this length for a 18'' barrel, I would of gone with the 15'' or 16'' version of the same hand guard, but I am using an adjustable gas block, and wanted easy access to be able to adjust it when needed, and the 13.5'' hand guard gives me all the access that I need but still keeping the gas block protected. But then again, it's all personal preference and or the look you are going for when it comes to your rifle.
