I used this on a Norinco MAK90, greatly helps with handling and allows for use of the front sling slot. Doesn't add that much weight compared to the original wood handguards either. Used with the railed gas tube replacement give a great aesthetic. I swear the upper tube made my AK slightly more accurate too...may just be me. Only downside is the price. Knowing they put these on Jim Fuller's/Rifle Dynamics AKs means a lot; highly recommended!

I love this handguard is was easy install and I didn't have to make any permanent alterations to my AK. It feels great and its nice to have the MLOK for if you want to put anything to your AK. Overall the best handguard you can get in my opinion.
