    Excellent handguard and easy installation!

    I got this handguard for my 5.45 Molot VEPR (mod4, and VEPR2 railed gas tube). It was incredibly easy to install and the fit and feel of this handguard is really solid. I'm very happy with this purchase, and the railed gas tube has been a great mounting solution for optics that doesn't require fiddling with or removing a side mount when you want to clean your rifle. The aluminum can get pretty warm after sustained firing, but you can consider that an extra feature if you're shooting in the winter! I'm very, very happy with this handguard and all of the extra accessories and customization it allows for my AK - especially one as difficult to find options for as the VEPR. Definitely recommend!!

    10.5 Ion handguard

    I really like the initial quality of the hand guard and gas tube. I was a little unsure of how solid it would mount up but it’s seems pretty solid after getting it mounted. Only gripe is I wish I would have known about the Cerakote options before I ordered. Making that option available when checking out would have been a nice feature.

    Excellent solution

    I had been struggling with a pre-owned AK whose prior owner had made some questionable decisions. I searched for some time for a handguard and gas tube combination that would work with this particular Yugo, and SLR ended up being just the thing. Their customer service was quick to reply and very knowledgeable, and I was able to order the exact combination of receiver mount, handguard, and railed gas tube that would be the best fit. The products are pricey compared to some on the market, but for the quality and the ability to get the exact combination you need, I think it's worth it.

    I have nothing but great things to say about this company, their service and the product. I was blown away by the service level and the end result is amazing. I now have ak that can shoot under 1.5 moa with a 2moa red dot and brown bear ammo. Super solid setup and the accuracy improvements are for real.

    Quality fit and finish. Instantly made my Rifle Dynamics AK more user friendly! Slight trimming of my handguard retainer was needed to prevent snags.
