Install was easy. The slim line fit takes a lot of bulk and weight away from the stock furniture. Changes the overall look of the rifle. Although the fit and design are exceptional, I gave a 4 out of 5 stars for the price point, at just over $300 for the hand guard and gas tube. I know you get what you pay for, but this price is a little steep and outside the grasp of a lot of old school AK owners.

Install was a snap. Fit and finish top notch. I've had other handguards in the past on Ak's ,SLR is the only way to go now! 2nd to none in quality, ty for an amazing product. Just my 2 cents.

The fit & finish on this piece are perfection. Great weight. Easy install. Elevates the AKV to a new level.
The only regret I have is not having the part Cerakoted OD Green. I did not know this was an option until after it shipped. If it was listed as an option when you put in an order I think many would choose this option.
