The esthetics and fitment of these handguards are worth the price. I was hesitant at first, but Todd helped me with all the questions I had and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this EXT handguard, No other brand will make anything as good looking and as unique as this SLR set up. Strongly recommended, all the range guys will be asking about your pistol and where you got it.
The weight distribution is perfect...plus it looks cool. Install is quick and easy, no mods required for the AK-P. You can definitely have other muzzle devices on here but make sure they are no more than 1.25" in diameter and any ports etc aren't covered by the handguard. Still probably looks best with the SLR linear comp, though.

This is a game changer right here. Easy install just test run your screws so you don’t destroy this work of art. Install and show off, somehow this handguard is lighter than the plastic magpul furniture.ships kinda quickly and is worth every penny!
Installed on a PSA AK-V. Massive improvement over the Magpul handguard. Recommend this handguard over any plastic handguard.

fitment is extremely good. Lightweight but durable at the same time. And most importantly looks amazing on my akv!
These rails are extremely nice as far as finish and fitment to the gun are concerned. They were shipped very quickly also. The small gripes I have are minimal but notable. The diameter of the rails around the muzzle device is fairly small, so if you're running a thread adapter for suppressors it will fit but it will be super tight. The adapter actually makes contact with the rails. The other issue is using a Haley Strategic Thorntail2 mount. The extra endplate that bridges the top of the rails over the adapter/muzzle device protrudes from the surface preventing the Thorntail2 mount from fully seating. Lots of material was required to be removed from the mount for it to properly mate to the rails.
Hand-guard looks and feels sleek and point with the 24mm Linear Comp. only problem which was easily fixed. Had to grind some more room on the right hand side of the handguard lock so it could line up and not pressing on the handguard
