Consistently great performing gas block

The GB7 and its counterparts have been a go to in our service shop for a couple years now, often being used as a replacement for the sloppy gas blocks predominantly available on the market. Gas block fitment is critical to getting a good seal on the barrel, preventing leakage and maintaining a properly operating gun. These blocks have always been snug on the gas journal and the new matte finish on the nitride helps provide an additional seal by capturing carbon and clotting up the mating surfaces. I was looking to replace my old railed RRA gas block with a low profile one and liked the fact that the front of this one is closed off unlike most others. The gas block fit on snug, with no problems of gas leakage. My DD lite rail II went over this gas block with no clearance issues. Over all great machining and a reasonable price.
