Hands down one of the best looking mag plates I’ve purchased. I am a huge fan of taran tactical and a buddy mentioned SLR to me so I decided to check em out. I am very impressed with the craftsmanship, fit and finish of the floor plate.
great fit excellent plates just go get them super great product like all SLR RIFLEWORKS products
you will get what you paid for, good quality
These baseplates are the BEST. I have gone through 3 classes now with these on the same OEM Glock mags and they have held up beautifully. I rarely take them off only to do a deep cleaning otherwise I normally wipe the follower with a rag soaked with Shooter Lube cleaner (the only one I’ve found to not effect mag reliability as it simply evaporates when left behind) and stick a mag cleaning brush down the mag tube but only far enough to push the follower down. When I do a deep cleaning every couple thousand rounds, I remove the baseplates so that I really clean the mag tube. And so far they’ve held up beautifully after repeated drops on all diff types of terrain from gravel to concrete to rocks to shells to sand and dirt etc. What I will say is that for ETS mags and a few others as well as a lot of my OEM mags, I have to cut one of the two tabs on the Glock mags off so that I can slide the baseplates on properly. That’s fine I have no issue with that, as again the pressure from the spring and follower and the design of the baseplates allows enough force to keep the baseplates on the mag no matter what. I find that the grooved outer rims are absolutely amazing when running a stock gun, and I love how flush fit they are when running a magwell (specifically the SLR Rifleworks ones when concealed). Now I will say there are some things I’d like to see changed in a version 2. 1) would be thickness. I want a version that’s slightly thicker for those of us who do run the SLR Rifleworks magwells on all their guns (
Solid quality and craftsmanship! Looks and works with the SLR magwell, which are installed on my Glock 19 MOS.
