    excellent muzzle device

I have this on my direct blowback 9mm AR. I recently was able to compare this to the VG6 GAMMA 9mm muzzle device (a very well-reviewed muzzle device) on my same firearm. The results were that the recoil reduction felt very similar (the VG6 may have been 5-10% better), but this Synergy Mini Comp 9mm 1/2x28 was dramatically better in terms of concussion/blast. I would say this device produced at least 60% less blast than the VG6 produced. That allowed my groupings to be much tighter with this device. In my personal experience, having a huge blast negatively affects rapid follow-up shots (even if the recoil is technically reduced). I believe all the small ports allows this compensator to avoid the huge side blasts (the VG6 GAMMA 9mm has 2 large side ports). This compensator was the clear winner for me and allowed me better rapid 3-shot groupings.

    Mini Comp

I have a Ruger PC 9mm Carbine and I just got the chance to try the Comp today and I am really impressed at the performance...I truly feel that was money well spent.. Thanks. It will be permanent to my System

    Mini comp 9 mm

I have not had a chance to shoot with it yet. It is well made and I like that it has a predrilled hole to pin it. Since I live in NJ it will have to be pinned because I've made changes to the Ruger PC9. Look forward to shooting with it.

To be honest, I chose this for the aesthetics vs bare threaded muzzle on my scorpion 9mm sbr. There is not really any recoil to complain about in a 9mm sbr, but to my suprise it actually does reduce felt recoil and keeps the muzzle under control and on target with a good 35-40% improvement over a bare muzzle. The machining , fit and gorgous dark satin black finish on this SLR mini comp is of the best I've come across, and I've bough plenty high end muzzles devices over the years.
