As a beginner builder this jig made it easy to dimple my barrel, and properly align my gas block.

5 spacing for blocks with .400" .425" .450" .470" and .500" center to center
Includes Jig , Hardened Centering Screw and Custom Hardened Drill bushing
5/32" drill bit required.

When I did my first build I wanted a “dimpled barrel” but was unable to procure one. So I got a barrel from a very reputable company without a dimple. Initially I didn’t dimple the barrel and built the gun, thinking I had done a fantastic job with alignment. It ran perfect but for some reason all of my impacts were left, no matter the adjustments I made on the scope. I then saw a video on these jigs and thought I’d give it a try. It seemed too easy to be honest. I decided to give it a try and it was incredibly easy. Turns out my gas block was no perfectly aligned, but it was so close. I had no idea the gas system would effect accuracy that much. I Re assembled my gun, this time with 2 dimples and then went back to the range, adjusted my scope again and immediately was shooting 1 inch MOA groups with subsonic ammo. Dead center impacts. Without this Jig I would have lost all faith in this weapon system. This is a must have piece of equipment!!! I’m blown away how simple it is but it’s so well thought out.

Very nice jig and very straight forward on how to use it. Perfect dimple location!
Great tool, takes the guess work out of it. Dimpling for a gas block has to be precise. Doing it improperly may cause all kinds of cycling issues. This tool allows you to line up your gas port and the set screws perfectly every time. I would highly recommend this tool as a must have.
