The sleekest magwell out there for the Gen 5 Glocks. Used it to cover the crappy half moon cutout.
Omg is the best accesorie to my Glock 19 G-5 the hole in the front botter me so much, I try with the base plates with the cover, but after a couple of hundred of rounds still is something that in the end still botter. I just used with 500 rounds so far and for me is really good. I got the zev and cain magwells but nothing like this one is really good. 100 recomended. Thanks !!!
Quality piece but not a true fit for the Glock 19 G5 MOS in my opinion. It will work, but you really have to force it on there causing it to dig into the polymer. So there is no going back! But it sure does look and feel bad ass once its on there. Regular 19 G5's should have no problem. Still a quality magwell with nice finish. Just wish it fit a little better for the MOS.
I bought the Gen 5 magwell on a whim not really expecting much. My G19.5 already has a somewhat flared magwell so I thought the SLR one might not really add too much enhancement....wrong. Installation was easy. Fit great and very well made. Yes it does give a slightly better funnel for reloads, but what it did for me was enhanced my purchase on the gun. The flare pushed my hand up exactly where it needs to be every time I draw. I was actually blown away at what I did to my grip. Maybe it depends on hand size (mine are medium sized), but I couldn't be happier with this magwell. It also did not increase printing as this is my EDC. If you are in the fence...get it. I also bought one SLR baseplate that was amazing! I should have bought more. Only one of my extended baseplates wasn't compatible. TTI, Glock OEM, and Magpul were good to go. Very impressed with SLR in every aspect. Thanks guys for putting out such quality products.
One minor change and this would be perfect. It has a lip in the front you can get Hing up on. Other than that this thing is really nice. Fits well and is the only one available that fits the MOS at the moment. If they made another one without the lip inside the front I would buy it again.
WOW!! This Gen5 Magwell is AMAZING!! I mean the feel it gives you for a Glock gen5 19 (version1) is unlike any other magwell I’ve tried. It forces your fingers up into the frame which is great especially if you have an undercut. I would recommend no other magwell, under one condition. You don’t mind buying SLR Rifleworks magplates or mag extensions because I had several different mag plates and only OEM fit and Taran Tactical. Which is fine because I’d rather have solid aluminum baseplates anyway to protect my mags upon ejection. And the metal coating does wear quite quickly on the interior of the magwell (there’s a few hotspots from slamming the SLR baseplates and mag extensions). But honestly who the hell is looking inside your magwell lol?? You just might have a few scuff marks. If you don’t mind either using oem plates, SLR Rifleworks plates+extensions, or Taran Tactical plates/extensions get this!
