Great mount, wrong screws
Love the mount! It’s well made, lightweight, and very sturdy. The screws for the mounting base are fine. Improved Torx 20 in size. Regular t20 torx is a bit loose and could strip. The included screws for the optic to the mount are too small of a thread pitch. A day after mounting my Holosun HS507c, I noticed the optic was loose. Went to tighten, and the screw just turned without getting tighter. I panicked, thinking I stripped the mount. Upon investigating, I found the threads on the screw and mount looked ok, but the screw threads didn’t engage the mount very well, as the screw still wobbled a few turns in. Luckily, my optic came with some mounting screws, which, visibly have a larger thread/pitch than the SLR included screws. Threaded the HS screws into the mount by hand first, and they went flawlessly. Not a huge problem, but an oversight nonetheless. Also, it fits the HS507C optic perfectly!
