I changed my 3 gun competition rifles over to these gas blocks about a year ago. I love them. I now have them on 4 rifles. The fit and finish is exceptional. The inner diameter of the block and gas tube port is very consistent, keeping any leakage to a minimum. There is no leakage at the adjustment screw, and the adjustment is smooth and provides concise clicks (14 clicks to full open). Very easy to maintain, no little springs to break or loose. The internal port is .125", which is well above the typical gas port diameter of a rifle length gas system on a 16" barrel (.105"). No gas restriction at all. They are a bit pricey, but for me they are well worth the price.

I recently changed over to these gas blocks on my 3 gun competition rifles. The design and quality is exceptional. 15 very distinct setting "clicks". Excellent barrel to block, and gas tube to block, fitment.

I have the Sentry 7 titanium installed on a lightweight build. Honestly, NO AR15 SHOULD BE WITHOUT IT!! Far in a way the greatest improvement ever made. SLR has taken the cumbersome guessing game out of adjusting it. Exactly as described in the manual, turn it in till it stops and back it out 6 or 7 clicks. Fire one round and bolt stop will lock action open when it is set correctly. No wondering how far you are or where its at. The detent on the screw clicks and stays exactly where you put it without trying to lock down a jam nut. tiny set screw, or the like. Massive reduction in recoil and way less crud when you clean it since only the amount of gas needed to cycle the bolt is sent down the tube. Great job SLR, best mod money I've ever spent.

I ordered the SLR Sentry 7 Clamp on adjustable Gas Block Titanium and when I received my package they had sent me a Sentry 7 Clamp on adjustable Gas Block Steel Melonite QPQ instead. I email them and was promptly contacted with an email to send me an RMA to get the correct gas block. I found out SLR is 15 minutes away from where I was working and talked to the owner to inform him not to send the RMA label and that I would just come by and exchange the gas block out. I arrived at SLR and they took me right in and showed me the facility & some of their new handguards. Wow, they were nice! They put a Titanium gas block together right in front of me and gave me some extra goodies that I was not expecting to get, Oh and an apology. What a great bunch of people at SLR for going the extra mile to satisfy a customer! I will be buying their products from them from now on! Thank You SLR!
