bought this for 2 premium AR bbls I'm installing. worked great to dimple both barrels. I would not work without it. I also bought the tool set to make sure I had the recommended bit to do the drilling with. I would not dimple without it. well worth the price.
Worked as advertised. Slick little setup. I do wish a small instruction sheet would have been included as well as the drill bit size but found a video on line. Great product..

Works perfectly and with many different set ups. I felt very confident when using this.
I had machined my own jig in .936, and needed one in .750, so I bought all SLR jigs. That saved me a bunch of time. SLR's Jigs are ACES. Well designed and made. Easy to use . I highly recommend these to everyone who builds more that two uppers a month. They will pay for themselves very quickly in the time you will save.
Great fit with a variety of options for different gas blocks
This review is for the SLR .750 Barrel Dimpling Jig. I’ve left similar positive comments on the .625 jig as well. This jig comes in a really cool anodized orange finish which helps simplify grabbing the right jig when you have multiple jigs to pick from in the tool box, but we don’t buy these tools for their looks, we buy them for results. I’ve tried green Genies, orange aligners, other dimpling products and even strands of spaghetti trying hard to align the gas block to that hidden gas port with precision. None of them worked as well or as precise as the SLR Dimpling tool. I can mount the jig, drill the dimples and secure the gas port to the barrel in less than 30 minutes and that’s taking my time and enjoying the process. I remember the trepidation I had when I dimpled my first few barrels prior to finding this tool. I don’t think twice about it now and even go back to dimple the barrels of my older AR builds. I’ve used these jigs about a dozen times this summer and I love the results. I’m definitely not a pro…but I am a retired Law Enforcement Officer, Armorer and Firearms Instructor and I give a big thumbs up to the SLR Dimpling Jigs.
