Almost Perfect
The handguard is high quality, beautiful, and rugged. But it needs a redesign for the 4 inch models. The QD mount is too centered so if there is a QD swivel/sling inserted it forces a shooter to grab the swivel/sling/handguard all at once making for a poor grip, or it forces the shooter to grab behind the sling which on these small AKs puts his fingers in contact with the charging hand/bolt carrier. When a sling is attached, there's no good place to properly grip the gun. The QD mount being as far forward as possible on the handguard, approximating the forward sling mount on the Sam7k, would solve this issue.
