    SLR Synergy Comp

I actually ordered this one but it was solid, just like the BCF version. I’m a real fan of SLR’s website and products!

Excellent Muzzle Rise Mitigation; Above Average Flash Suppression for a "Combo Comp"

I picked up this comp for a rifle build I was doing for a friend. Guy was had never owned an AR so I wanted to make it a good experience while still building a rifle that made good tactical sense. This comp is hard to beat. The design of it does force gases out in such a way that it does mitigate muzzle climb. Let's face it: The 5.56 does not kick much at all. My Drill Sergeant fired it full auto off his balls and it didn't faze him one bit. That said, muzzle climb is still an issue. Especially if you want to make 2nd, 3rd and follow on shots as fast as possible. The less muzzle climb, the faster you can get your optic or irons back on target and send another round down the pipe. This comp absolutely assists in that regard. I was also impressed with how it reduced some of the flash. This is not a Smith Vortex (Best flash suppressing device there is IMO) but it does a damn good job in conjunction with mitigating muzzle rise. You will not be disappointed! Typical high quality on the finish and the muzzle device screwed on like it was meant to. It really does not require timing although I did time it so that there was a flash hider tine at the 12 o'clock position. That just makes sense. I would buy this comp again, with no hesitation if I was looking for a muzzle device to help control rise and give me some pretty good flash suppression at the same time.
